At the front of the house you find a cozy private garden with easy to move sunbeds. There is a view of the fields and in the distance you can see the village of Le Buisson. A dirt track runs in front with rarely a walker with dog or car passing by. The garden faces southwest, with plenty of sun and shade due to large trees surrounding the garden. In the evening you may enjoy the beautful sunset over the hills.

Both bedrooms have a view of the spacious backyard and the banks of the river. The master bedroom has a king-size bed (180x200). The guestroom has two single beds. (90x210 and 90x200). It is possible to add a separate mattress for a fifth person. Due to the thick stone walls, the somewhat cooler nights and the convenient use of the shutters, it is possible to do without air conditioning on warm summer days. In consultation, you can place your own tent in the backyard for a maximum of two (extra) persons.
You enter the house through a front room with (extendable) dining table and wood stove. The living room has a spacious comfortable sitting area with TV and DVD player. Via a Google chromecast you have access to your own TV programs. Wi-Fi is available in the house.

The kitchen is fully equipped.
- Dishwasher
- Oven/microwave
- Induction hob
- Espresso (Nespresso capsules) machine
- Filter coffee machine
- (Spacious)fridge/freezer combination
- Washing machine

The bathroom is (for now) simple, equipped with a shower in a bath.
The bathroom is expected to be renovated in the spring of 2025.
There is a separate toilet next to the bathroom.

Below: the front of the house and view from the kitchen.

At the back of the house you enter a completely different world: the steadily flowing river, the poplar forest, the old orchard. The total estate is about 2 acres. The entire outdoor area is available to guests, apart from the large 'grange' (farm barn) and the 'séchoir' (tobacco barn).

The guests enjoy complete privacy are staying in the main house. Enton, the owner (also caretaker, lawn mower etc.) stays as a neighbor in the separate barn with entrance and view facing away from the house towards the poplar forest. Helena joins him from mid-July; writes stories under the parasol and goes for walks in the area.
